SELF DEFENSE ON HORSEBACK

Have you ever wondered what you would do if someone approached you on the trail and tried to do bodily harm to either you or your horse?

At our monthly meeting on Thursday, October 20th, we will be discussing some self-defense maneuvers that you can practice on horseback.  (If you have been practicing the Challenges of the Month, this should be a breeze!!)

On Saturday, October 29th, we will have a training session at Dawson Forest.   In the morning, we will be practicing some of the self-defense moves on horseback.  We will break for lunch, and Bob Eikenberry will be organizing a trail ride for the afternoon.  We will begin promptly at 0900.

You never know what you may encounter on the trails whether pleasure riding or on a search.   Let’s start by learning some of the basics of using your horse as your defense.
